| AWARD of EXCELLENCE CATEGORIES
Below is a brief description of the various award categories. In order to be considered for an award, your entry must address all criteria outlined in the
specific submission packets for each category listed below. If you are unsure about the submission category you should complete, refer to

| Outstanding Human Performance Intervention: A comprehensive award category for interventions other than those listed below—if your entry comprises multiple interventions, any intervention below may be a component.
Outstanding Performance Aid: Reduces dependence on memory by storing information, processes, or perspectives which influence/guide job behavior. Outstanding Research/Student Research: Recognizes outstanding graduate student research in Human Performance Technology or related fields. Outstanding Instructional Product or Intervention: Provides instruction, practice, and feedback to enable or improve job task performance. Outstanding Instructional Communication: A communication enabling individuals or organizations to achieve excellence in Human Performance Technology. Outstanding New Systematic Application: A process, method, or technique new to the field of Human Performance Technology. Chapters of Merit: Celebrates the accomplishments of local chapters of ISPI. |
