ISPI has persuaded Carl to offer a "two-fer",
combining his one-day Six Boxes™ Workshop with the abbreviated
FluencyBuilding™ Workshop that he has presented at ISPI's Annual
Conferences over the years. This is a rare opportunity for you to learn
about these two methodologies, usually only available in Carl's on-site
workshops at client organizations.
No matter what your role in any
organization, this combination of practical, results-driven
methodologies will give you new perspectives, insights, research-based
tools, and quick start methods to apply immediately after the workshop.
The
Six Boxes™ Model
offers a rapid on-ramp for Human Performance Technology novices and a
powerful tool set for seasoned practitioners seeking ways to drive
performance improvement more deeply into their organizations in ways
that are simple to communicate and easy to apply.
The
FluencyBuilding™ approach gives you a new way of understanding,
communicating, and measuring what it means "to be good at" any type of
performance. It provides concepts and tools to dramatically accelerate
learning and reduce time-to-performance--for new hires as well as
tenured performers.
Objectives
Among the many things you'll learn are
these important objectives:
- How to speak with colleagues and
clients in plain English about the causes of exceptional and
deficient performance and methods for improving performance.
- How to establish alignment among
teams and entire organizations about goals that involve human
performance and the means for achieving those goals.
- How to link measures of individual
performance during training to job performance and organizational
results--beyond the "100% correct trap".
- How to partner with clients to
conduct practical front-end analyses and exemplary performer
analyses, design performance interventions, and plan for execution
of new programs, strategies or initiatives using The Six Boxes
Model.
- How to distinguish between fluent
and non-fluent performance and to design efficient learning and
practice environments and tools to close the gap.
- What every good sports coach or
music teacher knows about building excellent performance, and how we
can recapture that in corporate training and coaching.
Intended Audience
This two-day workshop benefits almost anyone
involved with or interested in ISPI, including:
- Instructional designers and trainers
- Those interested in moving from
training to performance consulting
- Those introducing HPT to their
organizations
- Performance consultants, internal or
external
- People involved in organizational
excellence and leadership development
