Courtney Brooks-KaminCourtney Brooks Kamin

Executive Director

Courtney joined ISPI in 2014 and now proudly serves as the Executive Director, bringing with her over a decade of experience in non-profit and higher education sectors. She. She is a doctoral candidate in Sociology from the University of Kentucky and teaches Women’s Studies at the University of Maryland University College. Originally from central Appalachia, Courtney’s research focuses on the intersections of gender, identity, political resistance, and music from the region.

Position Function: Courtney provides leadership and oversight of ISPI operations and staff, and works with the Board of Directors to execute the strategic goals to drive the organization forward. Courtney plans and facilitates all of ISPI’s events and coordinates marketing and communications for Society members.

Rachel Grossmann
Website and Database Coordinator

Rachel graduated with a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Mary Washington. She is fluent in Spanish and has used those skills to serve the Hispanic community as a Community Health Interpreter. She enjoys advocating on behalf of others and using her language skills to problem solve in various capacities. Outside of ISPI, Rachel dedicates her time to translating newspaper articles and other hobbies. 

Position Function: Rachel provides database and website support for ISPI and its members, oversight of special group membership categories, and assistance with ISPI events and conferences.  

Natalie Williamson
Program Coordinator


Natalie graduated from the University of Utah with her B.A. in International Trade and Commerce and a minor in French. Travelling and exploring new countries and each place’s diverse cultures is her passion. When she isn’t travelling you can find her rock climbing or hiking in the mountains.

Position Function:  Natalie provides direct member support through individual and corporate member categories, as well as supporting our Chapters. Natalie also administers the CPT and Awards of Excellence Program. In addition, Natalie provides assistance with ISPI events and conferences.
